InJoy Thrift Store is a project of ITG (Injoy Thrift Goldsboro Inc.). ITG is a not-for-profit ministry supporting local and international Christian charities. One hundred percent of the income from the sale of products at Goldsboro InJoy Thrift Store, after normal store expenses are paid, goes to support and fund Christian-based ministries in their community and throughout the world. The board makes semi-annual grants to charities approved through a grant-application process. The Board encourages application for grants from local charities.
Goldsboro – InJoy Thrift Store
When you donate your gently used items to InJoy Thrift Stores, you are contributing to the work of Christian ministries at home and abroad such as:
DOOR is a TRAINING and TRANSLATION ministry to the Deaf; translating the Bible into sign languages, so the Deaf can be trained to do evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
There are an estimated 70 million Deaf people worldwide, and less than 2% of them know Christ. DOOR International’s mission is to bring God’s Word and reproducing Christian fellowships to the Deaf of the world.
CMS’s local Board of Directors screens and selects local Christian ministries to receive support. Agencies selected provide services to homeless families in distress, abused women and children, prisoners and pregnant women. Each of these ministries also deliver a strong Christian message.
Currently, these are the agencies funded by Rocky Mount Injoy Thrift Store through CMS:
Engaged in pregnancy counseling and information regarding abortion, rescue from prostitution and sex trafficking, addiction counseling, safe house, long term rehabilitation.
The EPIC Center provides free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds*, abortion information, sexual health education, prenatal and parenting classes, baby supplies, and much-much more! We serve Craven, Greene, Lenoir, Jones, and Pamlico Counties (Se habla español).
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.
Tommy’s Foundation exists to hear, empower, and love on the homeless community, as well as those struggling with addiction.
